Enter Sir Christopher Wren’s architectural masterpiece and enjoy the awe-inspiring interior of the cathedral floor with its mosaics, paintings, sculptures and statues. A cathedral has stood here since 604AD with the present building, the fourth to occupy this site, now entirely cleaned and restored for its 300th anniversary in 2011.
Visitors can also experience the acoustic quirks of the Whispering Gallery and continue to the Golden Gallery for panoramic views from the top of the iconic dome.
Descend to the crypt housing the tombs and memorials of some of the nation’s greatest heroes such as Admiral Lord Nelson and the Duke of Wellington. Also visit Oculus: an eye into St Paul’s, a 270⁰HD film experience which shows a series of short immersive films about the cathedral.
